TRIVIA 27 JUNE 2026 PAckages
You want to come and have a great night of trivia, but you don’t want to be driving late at night, or after a few drinks, and you could really do with a break from your day-to-day so we have the solution…
Come stay the night!
Check in anytime from 12.30pm Saturday - you can always come earlier and take in some of the Nelson sites, a walk along the river, a quiet read in the Hotel until your room is ready, a bit of painting, some fishing, sit with us at the bar and have a chat, we’re always up for one!
12.30pm - lunch at the Hotel is included in the package, along with a drink of your choice (schooner of anything we have on tap, a house wine, or a standard spirit and mixer)
Then an afternoon of whatever takes your fancy.. a canoe trip (we can help you organise that if you like) more fishing, some snoozing, some photography, some painting, a bit of everything, or a lot of nothing
7.00pm - trivia starts, ticket price is included in the package, and YOUR special nibbles board comes loaded with enough food, that you won’t need dinner! AND another drink
Enjoy the night, retire to your room… bask in the relaxation
Sunday - breakfast hamper to indulge in at your convenience. Come into the Hotel from 11.00am for your complimentary coffee, hot chocolate mocha or tea, and to tell us how much you’re loving your weekend.
Top the day off, before you head home, with a 1-and-a-half to 2 hour cruise on the beautiful Glenelg River with Glenelg River Cruises. This cruise will be either a light lunch cruise or an afternoon tea cruise, either way, (subject to weather) you’ll be back in Nelson by 4.30 to make your way home.
Now.. that’s a great break!

Now, we only have limited accommodation here at the Hotel, and we would love to see lots of people coming and having a short break in this beautiful town, so we can recommend some lovely accommodation options, and we can even help you handle the bookings! OR… you may already be in town, and just want to treat yourself to something a little special.
You can have all the inclusions, (without the accomodation of course) for $130 per person… that’s right we will:
provide a breakfast hamper that you can collect Saturday when you come in for lunch
have a leisurely lunch and drink at the Hotel
get your ticket for trivia, drink and the meal-size nibbles board and come on down Saturday night; AND
cruise on the Glenelg River ALL for $130 per person
